With the BRX x EST RX championship entering its second half, every point becomes increasingly valuable. One of the drivers determined to challenge for the Super1600 championship is Lithuanian racer Rytis Rutkauskas, who currently sits second in the standings and has no intention of settling for anything less than victory.<\/p>\n
Despite already enjoying a strong start to the season, Rutkauskas admits his ambitions continue to grow.<\/p>\n
“So far, the achievements and results are looking good, but I’m raising the bar even higher. I will put in maximum effort and give it everything I’ve got to reach the absolute top.”<\/p>\n
While consistency has been one of the keys to his championship campaign so far, the Lithuanian believes the real challenge is still ahead. With several rounds remaining, every race weekend presents another opportunity to gain crucial points\u2014or lose them.<\/p>\n
Like many Baltic drivers, Rutkauskas has developed clear preferences when it comes to rallycross circuits. If he could choose just one, the answer comes quickly.<\/p>\n
“Without a doubt, my favourite track remains Bi\u0137ernieki in Latvia.”<\/p>\n
He also enjoys competing at Raassilla and Laitse, two Estonian circuits that have become familiar stops on the Baltic Rallycross Championship calendar.<\/p>\n
However, he believes Raassilla could become even better.<\/p>\n
“It would be great to see the old joker lap section return, and the paddock could definitely use a bit more electrical infrastructure.”<\/p>\n
Behind every successful rallycross driver stands a dedicated team, and Rutkauskas is quick to acknowledge the people who make his performances possible.<\/p>\n
“A huge shoutout to Vaidas Navickas’ team. The guys are doing a flawless job with the race car, and the machinery is fully ready for battle.”<\/p>\n
With the championship fight intensifying, the Lithuanian remains fully focused on his objective.<\/p>\n
“Thank you to everyone supporting me. There is only one goal \u2013 the highest step of the podium.”<\/p>\n
That determination perfectly sums up Rutkauskas’ approach as the championship heads to Raassilla RX on 25 July, where another crucial chapter of the BRX x EST RX title battle will unfold.<\/p>\n
Whether he can close the gap to the championship leader\u2014or even take control of the standings\u2014will soon be decided on one of Estonia’s fastest and most demanding rallycross circuits.<\/p>\n

“Senised tulemused on olnud head, kuid t\u00f5stan lati veel k\u00f5rgemale. Annan endast maksimumi ja teen k\u00f5ik v\u00f5imaliku, et j\u00f5uda k\u00f5ige k\u00f5rgemale astmele.”<\/p>\n
Just selline suhtumine ongi aidanud tal p\u00fcsida kogu hooaja v\u00e4ltel tiitlikonkurentsis. Eesootavad etapid saavad aga olema otsustava t\u00e4htsusega ning iga eksimus v\u00f5ib meistriv\u00f5istluste arvestuses kalliks maksma minna.<\/p>\n
Baltikumi rallikrossiradadest ei pidanud leedukas kaua m\u00f5tlema, kui k\u00fcsisime tema lemmikraja kohta.<\/p>\n
“Minu vaieldamatu lemmik on Bi\u0137ernieki rada L\u00e4tis.”<\/p>\n
Samas kiidab ta ka Eesti radu, tuues eraldi v\u00e4lja nii Raassilla kui ka Laitse.<\/p>\n
Raassilla kohta on tal aga ka \u00fcks konkreetne soov.<\/p>\n
“Oleks v\u00e4ga \u00e4ge, kui vana jokeri l\u00f5ik tagasi toodaks. Samuti v\u00f5iks hooldusalal olla rohkem elektriv\u00f5imsust.”<\/p>\n
Edukas rallikross ei s\u00fcnni kunagi ainult s\u00f5itja t\u00f6\u00f6 tulemusena ning Rutkauskas r\u00f5hutab, kui oluline roll on tema meeskonnal.<\/p>\n
“Suur t\u00e4nu Vaidas Navickase meeskonnale. Nad teevad v\u00f5istlusauto kallal laitmatut t\u00f6\u00f6d ning tehnika on igaks etapiks t\u00e4ielikult valmis.”<\/p>\n
